Why I chose to work in arboriculture
I realized I could climb trees for a living.
My favourite tree
Pohutukawa Tree (Metrosideros excelsa) because I have fond memories of playing around in these trees which overhang much of the north island coastline of New Zealand. I have many favourite landmark & specimen trees in and around our city as well. My favorite species are giant sequoia, Douglas-fir and dove tree.
